Building on the success of last year’s Charity of Choice program, Bin Yousef is once again partnering with Qatar Charity to continue this meaningful initiative this year during the Holy month of Ramadan.

Through this initiative, Bin Yousef employees can contribute by donating food baskets via Qatar Charity’s online portal to those in need not just in Qatar but anywhere in the world. To make their donations, employees can select their ‘charity of choice’, decide on the number of food baskets they wish to donate, and choose the country where they’d like to donate. To amplify this effort, Bin Yousef will match the total number of food baskets donated by employees, increasing the overall impact and extending support to more people.

“By continuing our partnership with Qatar Charity, the Charity of Choice program allows us to provide essential food support to communities in need. Ramadan is a time of giving, and we are committed to making a meaningful difference where it matters most.” said David Ford, CEO, Bin Yousef.

For his part, Mr. Ali Ibrahem AlGreeb, Resource Development Manager at Qatar Charity, expressed the organization’s pride in continuing its partnership with Bin Yousef in the ‘Charity of Choice’ initiative during Ramadan, which aims to provide food assistance to those in need both within Qatar and abroad. AlGreeb emphasized that such initiatives play a crucial role in combating food insecurity and providing hope to vulnerable groups, expressing his gratitude to Bin Yousef for their continued support. He also called on other organizations and companies to adopt more charitable initiatives to expand support and alleviate the suffering of those in need worldwide.

Established in Doha in 1978, Bin Yousef is a diversified holding group with divisions in Fashion, Cargo, Real Estate, Facilities Management, Tourism, Hospitality, and Investments, among others. Under the leadership of group chairman, HE Akbar Al Baker, Bin Yousef has organically grown into a diverse and dynamic group of businesses in Qatar.
